Honored as University of Florida's "Outstanding Young Alumni" and a “Rising Star” by the Florida Association of Women Lawyers for trailblazing in "3-in-1" career(s), Rawlings, is a litigator, designer, and tech entrepreneur with undergraduate degrees in business. As a second-year law school student, Rawlings started to develop a new niche of law called "Fashion Law" to meet the needs of her high fashion accessories line, B.Rawlings. The self-taught designer began the accessories line the year before as a creative outlet from her daily grind as a law student, and applied her law school resources to her fashion company thereby creating "Fashion Law". Rawlings single-handedly grew her fashion line and her 'fashion law' niche, while graduating cum laude from law school in 2010. As a designer, Rawlings has been honored as Gen Art’s Fresh Face in Fashion Accessory Designer in 2010, been acclaimed by international Vogue publications, Allure Magazine and People Magazine, carried in Bloomingdales, held Trunk Shows at Henri Bendels New York, and has jeweled numerous celebrities and fashion shows. With the combined knowledge from a bachelors degree in business and entrepreneurship, a juris doctorate and running a fashion company, Rawlings started her own law firm specializing in the field of 'creativepreneurs', corporate and fashion law. To meet a reoccurring pain point for her clients and friends, Rawlings embarked on yet another venture, FashionBoss, to help small businesses start and grow their companies. After proving product-market fit in a test vertical, Rawlings raised outside capital to launch SmartBoss, a personalized A.I. executive team for small businesses. Rawlings is licensed to practice law in New York, Florida and Washington D.C. and is an Executive Council Member and Fashion Law Co-Chair of The Florida Bar Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law, as Young Women Lawyers, Women Who Launch, Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and more.
