Assists Store Manager with the day-to-day operation of the entire store and assumes total store responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager.
 - Direct responsibility (accountability) of the Grocery and General Merchandise departments, including Sales, Gross Profit, Shrink, Payroll, and CTO.
 - Assist the Store Manager with the day-to-day management of all departments within the store operation.
 - Ensures that all full time and part time staffing needs are met, and address teammate retention/turnover issues.- Ensure all associates follow dress code and personal appearance guidelines.
 - Ensure all aspects of corporate policies, procedures, auditing, and regulatory laws regarding sanitation are met.
 - Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures at all times.

Acts as brand ambassador - educating the store team and our shoppers about unique M32 offerings, store promotions, and encourages brand loyalty. -Ensures the total store is providing exemplary customer service through mentoring and role modeling behaviors, inspiring, coaching, and educating the management team regarding sales and service results as well as how to improve them through suggested leadership behaviors. -Assesses teammate behavior relating to sales and service while providing feedback to management. -Assists with conducting interviews and staffing responsibilities - Provides support and follow-up to newly hired teammates, ensuring training is complete over specified training intervals. -Communicates, motivates, and follows up on execution of corporate and operational initiatives including those outlined in weekly selling points, model store communications, seasonal selling direction, VP Operations, RVP and Zone Director expectations.

Oversaw the florist operation of the store to ensure that all budgeted financial objectives and departmental product quality and presentation standards were achieved to promote optimal opportunity for sales. -Managed day to day departmental operations that included: Ensuring the proper supervision of department staff. Responsible for appropriate scheduling and staffing of department to satisfy business needs. -Responsible for the hiring, training, and development of all departmental staff. Documents performance issues, and recommended disciplinary actions as needed. -Responsible for monitoring, controlling and achieving pre-established financial results set forth for the department: Payroll, Sales, Gross Profit, CTO, Shrink, and Inventory levels.
