I served as a substitute for 2-6 teachers and paraprofessionals at Greenlawn Elementary.

I served as a substitute for K-6 teachers at Afton Elementary.

Planned and implemented lessons on educational technology management to graduate students. Students were monitored and assessed in a completely online learning environment. A variety of presentation methods were used such as videos, discussion boards, and live face-to-face instruction using Adobe Connect. Students were assessed using methods such as rubrics, checklists, peer evaluation, and student online portfolios.

Supervised children ages 6-16 in a structured camp environment. Led and assisted in activities such as Arts & Crafts, Archery, and Lazer Tag. Supervised 5th/6th grade girls in a cabin.

I served as a substitute for K-4 teachers and paraprofessionals at the district's elementary school.

Developed multidisciplinary lessons for 3rd grade in ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies including a Social Studies unit on the rainforest. Lessons incorporated a variety of teaching methods such as whole class and small group instruction, the use of visual aids, and the integration of videos and SMART Board Technology.

Implemented creative lessons in 5th/6th grade Math and Science including a 6th grade Science unit on Life Structure and Classification. Lessons provided students with opportunities to connect their learning to their experiences such as providing the students with an opportunity to share rock samples they found while learning about metamorphic, igneous, and sedimentary rocks.
