About Brittany Sipes

My Name is Brittany Sipes. I am 25 years old and a graduate from Carlow University with a degree in early childhood/special education. I am currently a middle level ELA teacher at St. Paul's Catholic school. I have many experiences working with children. I have experienced being a lead preschool teacher, a swim instructor for infants to school age children, a summer camp counselor and an assistant teacher to children from the ages of infancy to fourth grade. I have also worked for many after school programs, including Big Brothers Big Sisters and after school programs the YMCA has offered. Also, I worked for the leap program in which I experienced working with children on the autism spectrum. I have learned so much about the field and working with children throughout my college career and the experiences I've had during this time. Observations, practicums and my student teaching experience has opened my eyes to many valuable and lifelong lessons. These experiences have made me realize I am in the right field, and I cannot wait to do what I love for the rest of my life!
