I am currently the Operations Manager for the Alzheimer's Association, where I direct business operations activities across the Oregon & SW Washington region. Having worked in the Senior Living industry, I've always had an interest in research and an appetite for being involved. I want to do whatever I can to contribute towards our understanding of the disease and ultimately help improve diagnosis, treatment and care. Anyone of us could get dementia, so research is important to make a difference. By championing this cause I feel like I am doing something positive and practical. I get a lot of satisfaction from my job. I am fortunate to work with professionals that I can learn from and that will push me to take on new challenging opportunities. My specialties include quickly learning new skills, problem solving, the ability to organize, prioritize and self-manage. My record keeping and communication skills allow me to ensure that information is recorded and distributed accordingly.
