Brittany Barnes is an award-winning brand builder & strategist, with a penchant for amplifying diverse voices and stories, and identifying integrated solutions for matrix organizations that drive equity, inclusion and innovation. Brittany's diverse experience also spans advertising/branding and talent recruiting, giving her a unique, comprehensive lens in developing qualitative and quantitative solutions. As a Brand Management Lead at The Richards Group, Brittany led creative, media and strategy teams in the ideation and production of 360 campaigns for clients such as Primrose Schools, Dave's Killer Bread and Tastykake. She excelled at introducing new processes for teams to streamline workflow and bringing a focus to diverse, inclusive and authentic storytelling to engage BIPOC audiences. While there, Brittany led diversity & inclusion efforts for the company, including the planning & introduction of the company's Employee Resource Groups and a new recruitment strategy. She was recognized by her peers as one of the agency's 25 outstanding employees, and awarded the American Advertising Foundation's 32 Under 32 award (DFW Chapter) in 2020. She began her career as an account manager for one of NYC's leading talent firms, representing clients such as CHANEL, Marc Jacobs, Tiffany & Co. and Tishman Speyer. Brittany graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2014, with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and African-American Studies.
