Profile bio

About Brittany Rivers

My educational background and experience, is very extensive, seeing I hold one Bachelor's degree and two Masters' degrees. I have a BS degree in Sociology/ minor in Speech Pathology and a MS degree in Social Work, where I graduated in the top percentile at the University of South Carolina. While I have a heart for clinical coordination, I noticed my passion was analyzing data, information technology, insurance, and working with others to review, authorize, and recommend personal or commercial loans. While I was led into another field, I realized that my education and experiences, in the fields of Sociology and Social Work, often played out in many of my other professional roles. I've learned it's very important to not only be professional but also emphatic, in the work place. I am an alumnus of the second graduating class of the Medical University of South Carolina with a Master’s degree in Health Informatics (Class of 2017), where I also graduated in the top percentile. As a Health Informatic Specialist, as technology and computers become increasingly universal, they play a critical role in the quality of life that we all receive. I am currently working as a loan officer assistant. My everyday roles involve the methodical application of computer science, technology, and information, hoping to achieve the ultimate goal, that is improving clients' lives by increasing the efficiency of its delivery and the effectiveness of all solutions, that we find fitting for that case. I work with many other professionals to design, develop, and access ways to collect, share, standardize, and integrate data and the information systems used to manage it. I often look beyond collections and maintenance of data and information, often requiring me to analyze data and information to uncover more effective ways to deliver solutions or examine the systems itself, often to pinpoint better ways to get the information, that all parties rely on and need to produce efficiently.

Listed skills include Case Management, Family Therapy, Group Therapy, Mental Health, and 32 others.
