Research grant funding opportunities relevant to the organization's mission and programming. Prepare for grant applications by meeting with program officers at each foundation. Collaborate with coaches and internal program leaders to prepare the written portion of the grant application. Work alongside the Executive Director and the Board Chair to finalize the written grant application. Additionally, I work to prepare and submit all follow-up reports and maintain a relationship with our program officers beyond the term of the grant.Assist the Executive Director with developing and executing the annual fundraising plan, maintaining relationships with ongoing donors and facilitating new donor relationships, and sustaining a large base of annual individual donors. Engage the community and raise funds through organizing and executing special events, social media and promotional campaigns, and other PR efforts as needed. Manage all incoming funds and gifts through the CRM system SalsaLabs.

Oversaw all community outreach events and coordinated volunteer needs, including any onboarding sessions. Served as the communication liaison between Three Rivers Rowing Association and community partners in regards to upcoming events and post-event reports. Worked with Executive Director and Development VISTA to promote volunteer opportunities to our community members. Twice a week, worked with the Mid-Morning Masters team as their program coach, creating training plans and community practice schedules and plans to a team of 9 people.

Support the Regulatory Strategy and Government Affairs team with particular focus on clean energy initiatives.

Assist with coaching the Division-1 Women's Crew Team at Robert Morris University, including a group of walk-on student athletes.

Focused on capacity building for the organization by assisting the Director of Development with fundraising efforts, community outreach, and grant research. I utilized the Salsa Labs CRM database daily to track and organize incoming donations into designated campaigns depending on donation type to ensure that funding is properly allocated and spent according to donor intentions. Salsa Labs Engage platform served as a communication tool to interact with the community via email, social media, and by uploading directly to the organization's website. Alongside capacity building, I worked with the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team to design and implement introductory rowing curriculums with a Social Emotional Learning component for local Pittsburgh youth who may otherwise not have the opportunity to row. The program is partially funded through grants, researched and applied for by the Director of Development with my assistance.

Constructed and led a variety of educational public programming through the use of interpretive guiding skills, conducted trail survey and restoration projects, and interacted with park users on a daily basis, answering questions and offering knowledge of the Allegheny County Parks.
