For over four years, Brittany worked as a Sustainability Manager at YR&G, supporting clients in developing and implementing sustainability initiatives and strategies for existing buildings and building portfolios. In this role, she managed or supported 25+ LEED-EBOM certification and recertification projects and gap analyses, including for the Chrysler Building, the Colorado Convention Center, and Tishman Speyer D.C. and North Virginia portfolios. Additionally, Brittany worked with corporate clients (including DIRECTV, PCL Construction, and The Cheesecake Factory) to develop strategies for the implementation of sustainability initiatives, reporting, behavior engagement, and education. In a volunteer capacity, Brittany served as a Co-Chair of USGBC Colorado’s Commercial Real Estate Initiative (CREI), a USGBC Colorado LEED-X (Expert) for Existing Buildings Operations & Maintenance, and was a past member of the Education & Events Committee and Special Programs Working Group for USGBC National and Greenbuild. She also has helped to coordinate unique education opportunities for people to learn about sustainability in existing buildings, including the USGBC Colorado’s LEED-EBOM series that will take participants through the certification of the History Colorado Center. While in living in NYC, Brittany served as a co-chair of the Urban Green Council (USGBC-NY) Emerging Professionals co-chair.Brittany carries a bachelor’s degree is business administration from the University of Southern California. Prior to YR&G, Brittany assisted in launching sustainability-related businesses, including co-founding a start-up company in NYC that delivers green building education programming. Brittany is a LEED AP O+M and BD+C.
