-Planned and taught dynamic English language and American culture lessons to students (3 years- 6th grade) at Centro de Estudios Castilla, a diverse, multicultural preschool and primary school, in Barrio Lavapies, Madrid, Spain.

-Planned and implemented English language and American culture lessons and activities for students at CEIP El Buen Gobernador, a bilingual primary school in Torrejón de Ardoz, in collaboration with Spanish professors from October 2017- June 2020 and for high school students at Instituto de Educación Secundaria GAIA in Alicante from October 2016 - June 2017.-Prepared 6th graders for written and oral Cambridge exams (PET and KET). -Innovated an e-learning curriculum that ensured an uninterrupted academic term during the COVID-19 crisis.

-Assisted with all aspects of case management at a high volume defense litigation firm as the paralegal for a senior partner focused on medical malpractice defense.-Conducted detailed research, drafted legal documents and reports, interacted with clients, prepared materials and witnesses for trial, and reviewed medical records.

-Assisted with the arrival, orientation, adjustment, and advising for 40 international students and the orientation/advising of Roanoke students planning to study abroad.-Planned, marketed and implemented cultural activities, including events and trips, for the International Club, Global Village living/learning community, and campus community.-Aided with the planning and implementation of campus-wide study abroad outreach events and classroom visits.-Served as an advisor to the International Club and Global Village living/learning community.

-Advised and supported 11 student leaders and 40+ participants of SMART Mentoring and Alternative Break programs. -Served as a teaching assistant for a new service-learning course on community development. Assisted the instructor with the course layout, assignment development, and with the evaluation of the course.-Assisted with the planning, logistics, publicity and messaging for a campus-wide GO! Global Orientation on Culture and Ethics designed for students planning to do engagement work abroad.-Collaborated with community partners to strengthen existing relationships and make service-learning programs and courses more sustainable.-Supported seven staff through office management and event support, including tracking the office’s budget and expenditures.-Helped to develop and facilitate leadership development workshops for student leaders and volunteers.

-Selected to participate in the Phoenix Project's Social Innovation Program, an intensive six-week professional training program that provides a core curriculum and then deploys students as pro bono management consultants to nonprofits and municipal agencies in the Washington, D.C. metro area.-Formulated strategies with a small team to increase organizational efficiency for community clients, including creating a marketing and branding plan for Edu-Futuro, a business plan for the Sitar Arts Center, a best practices assessment for the DC Center for the LGBTQ Community, and a technology plan for Bright Beginnings.-Served as team leader and primary author of the marketing and re-branding plan for Edu-Futuro.

-Assisted with programming and daily management of a youth camp and a children’s program focused on HIV/AIDS prevention education, social issues, and life skills impacting 60+ children and youth.

-Helped fundraise over $5,000 to support OYE’s programming: scholarships, workshops, radio program, and magazine.-Traveled to Honduras to learn/work with the local staff on improving the organization’s offices and capabilities.
