As a Nanny, I am responsible for the care of two very active school age children on weekdays. I prepare and serve meals (breakfast, lunch, and occasionally dinner), create purposeful indoor/outdoor activities to advance social, emotional, and intellectual growth, and completed laundry, dishes, and household chores to help assist in the smooth running of the household during the frantic summers. As I enjoy spending time with children, I continue to look after different families kids periodically throughout the school year.

I engaged in a Leadership in Training Program for one month, followed by a 2 week placement where I was responsible for cabin leading children ages 5-11 at overnight camp. As well, I worked with Inclusion campers through their work program at Ontario Pioneer Camp which includes working with young adults, with special needs, to complete laundry, clean bathrooms, set up the dining hall for camp members to eat, wash dishes, and more. While I was a counsellor for young children, I would mentor kids through their specific daily activities containing biking, crafts, canoeing, archery, and more. Additionally, I was accountable for serving campers their meals and cleaning tables after all meals. Overall, daily caregiving and ensuring campers are having fun and feeling safe is the major job priority at Ontario Pioneer Camp
