-Meet with students one-on-one to assist in major and career exploration-Serve undergrad and graduate students in career preparation topics, specifically those in the School of Education, Academic and Career Exploration majors, and students in the College of Applied Behavior Sciences (Psychology and Social Work majors) -Administer and interpret results of the Focus 2 and PathwayU assessments utilizing Holland Codes-Strong Interest Inventory Certified Practitioner-Prepare presentations and speak to students regarding career readiness topics including networking, career document preparation, exploration of majors and careers, and other necessary skills as defined by NACE career competencies-Collaborate with UIndy School of Education in order to prepare students for careers in education-Combined efforts with School of Education faculty to prepare informational handouts regarding resumes, cover letters, and interviewing tips to be included in the Student Teaching Handbook and Guidelines-Mentor digital media student staff team - monitoring and coordinating office social media usage and marketing of events-Act as course instructor for INTD205 (Interdisciplinary Internship) - Create syllabi, approve internships and monitor student coursework-Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education counselor
