As the graduate assistant of the DePaul University History Department, I was required to serve as the representative of all of DePaul's history students before the departmental faculty. My most important duty was creating analytical reports out of several years' worth of student evaluations for faculty members up for tenure. I proctored exams and administered other classroom activities when needed and assisted in research projects upon request. A library's sharing system is important not only to its particular patrons, but to the entire system of libraries it shares materials with. As the interlibrary loan assistant, I helped facilitate DePaul University's participation with this system, managing the distribution and return of material requests.
