Previously she helped found and lead the regional cross-sector initiative, Welcome Toledo-Lucas County, in Toledo, Ohio and the statewide organization Vibrant Ohio. In 2019, she led the project for Lucas County, Ohio to become the second county in the United States to be designated Certified Welcoming.Brittany has a Certificate in Public Policy Analysis from London School of Economics and a Master of Arts in International Educational Development from Columbia University's Teachers College. Brittany was most recently a Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow in Public Policy, Migration, and Integration based in Berlin, Germany.
