I currently serve as the Senior Director of Communications and Marketing for the Kentucky CASA Network, primarily providing marketing and administrative services to the state association. I spent 2017 as the State Program Manager for MakerMinded KY, an online platform to engage students in STEM and advanced manufacturing experiences. I grew the network across Kentucky, involving students, teachers, and employers throughout the state. Prior to that, I taught middle school math in Louisville for four and a half years. I received a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus in middle school math from Bellarmine University in 2014. My undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Marketing, was from Elon University. I had two internships during my time at Elon - one in the summer of 2011 at McDonald's Boston Region office in the Marketing & Communications departments, and one the previous summer at Arnold Worldwide (Boston) as an Account Management intern. I studied abroad three times while an undergraduate. I was in Nice, France for one month during the summer of 2009; Lyon, France for the spring 2011 semester at the International Business Program at ESDES; and the Comprehensive Rural Health Care Project (CRHP) campus in Jamkhed, India for three weeks in January 2012.
