I oversee our Digital Content Creator and ensure that the digital content we put out moves our work and our affiliates work forward. I also manage our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn) and mobilize our followers to take action on environmental issues.

I oversee our Digital Content Creator and ensure that the digital content we put out moves our work and our affiliates work forward. I also manage our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok) and mobilize our followers to take action on environmental issues.

As the Public Alert Organizer I mobilized North Carolina activists through weekly online action alerts on the top environmental issues facing the state. I also worked to increase the number of activists subscribing to the NC Conservation Network's email distribution list, in order to broaden and bolster the work of the NC conservation community.  I also helped to develop and train Public Alert activists in offline activities and through traditional community organizing.

The Beehive Collective is a giving circle that awards grants to non-profits working toward making Raleigh a better place. Members of the Beehive Collective are interested in supporting the development of women through local activities. By pooling our resources and organizing fun events, we raise money to fund deserving projects. Since 2008, we’ve given away more than $280,000 to support causes ranging from public transportation to youth healthcare.The Beehive Collective is run by a working, volunteer board of directors. There are as many as to 15 members who donate their time, talent and treasure to serve two- to five-year terms. Board co-chairs lead for two-year terms and are appointed from current members. In this role, my responsibilities included:- Planning and facilitating monthly board meetings (including the agenda and scheduling) - Planning and facilitating the annual and mid-year board retreats (including the agenda and scheduling)- Working with committee co-chairs on their goals and projects for the year- Recruiting new board members and leadership to the Beehive - Strategic planning for the boards five year vision- Managing organizational growth planning and management- Ensuring the organizational activities align with the mission and strategic goals throughout the year- Fundraising - Public speaking - Fielding a wide range of requests from our local community

Responsible for facilitating committee meetings and agendas. Helped to keep the Beehive membership connected to each other and creating a cohesive message across our emails, Facebook page and other channels.

Co-founded and organized a collaborative, Instagram-based photo blog for Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill. I helped to manage the online account and social media presence. My specific role was to organize our wait list, schedule daily baton holders, vet individual social media accounts, handle communication with participants and press.

I planned and coordinated events, such as the annual oyster roast, New River Palooza and river cleanups on the New River. In addition, I planned and executed communications campaigns, including appeals for action through mail, email, website and social networking sites. I organized and executed appeals for contributions and managed the membership database.

- Daily interaction with customers, making reservations and managing pet pick ups and drop offs- Cleaned, fed and administered medicine to family pets boarded at the facility

- Responsible for dealing with customers on an intimate level on the shop floor, making product recommendations and assisting with size and fit issues- Responsible for managing the cash register as assigned, counting money, separating charge slips, coupons, and vouchers and balancing the cash drawers
