Split large documents for disclosure into their categories and save files to iManage with WK’s naming conventions. Answer phones and greet visitors in a professional and timely manner. Understand legal documents, medical reports, and expert advice in order to ensure that they are filed correctly in their file. Understanding these documents also allows for proofreading mistakes to be caught before they are sent to counsel or taken to court. Arrange for deliveries of important legal documents such as briefs to counsel or disclosure. File documents at court and government agencies and follow up if there are any issues. As an additional responsibility, handling any level 1 IT issues such as encrypting hard drives or printer malfunctions to ensure that the equipment continues to run smoothly.

I was assigned the state of VictoriaDuties included:- Using multiple databases such as Victoria’s Coroners and AustLii and find every coroners report that included a police/citizen interaction that resulted in the death of the citizen- Read these reports and determine whether they fit within the parameters of the study- Code the suitable reports into a database that on average had 80 datasets to be filled out- Meet weekly with Dr Hine to report my findings
