The best compliment I receive is when a business leader calls me a trusted advisor. I am a strategic and business-minded in-house counsel, with experience spanning product counseling, artificial intelligence, marketing and advertising, intellectual property, real estate, litigation, employment, and legal operations. I pride myself on my ability to translate legalese to plain language for senior executives, board members, and field employees alike so everyone has the insights they need to balance risk and make informed decisions. My most satisfying day includes brainstorming products, analyzing the way existing laws impact innovative ideas, and partnering with project managers, marketers, engineers, and leaders to guide those ideas to the public. I love building people up. Nothing leaves me more fulfilled than mentoring, course-correcting, training, and digging into the nitty gritty so we can execute on the big picture. That's why I serve as the founding Washington State Regional Chair of the Legal Mentor Network.
