Perform insurance/ billing clerical duties, including review and verification of patient account information against insurance specifications Follow up on balances due from insurance companies; appeal, rebill and inquire continuously until paid/ solved Obtain the necessary information to successfully respond to insurance claim denials Enter data and notes into outpatient billing system to process charges, payments, denial and adjustments Update company systems with follow up notes on weekly basis Responsible for all accounts within office Maintain confidentiality of all patient and physician related informationKeeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trendsDesigns and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustmentsMaintains office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees

Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilizationAssist physicians in preparation for patient physicals, biopsies, cultures, and minor surgeries

Perform patient assessments, assist paramedics and perform wound careRecord, observe and report to physician on patients condition, treatment provided, and reaction to treatment/ drugsParticipated in on-going educational programs to build knowledge base of equipment and protocol
