Oversees major gift fundraising for 200 year old human rights and education NGO focused on helping children with disabilities find their place in the world. Responsibilities include:- Manage, mentor and supervise team of 5 philanthropy officers with an overall team goal of $7M annually- Collaborate with CEO, Board of Trustees, Executive Team and colleagues to build a mission-focused fundraising plan and foster a culture of philanthropy- Cultivate meaningful relationships with donors, prospects, colleagues, and partners- Work with Perkins International team to raise brand awareness and increase donor base within the international philanthropic community- Curate donor-centric experiences, events, and travel opportunities - Maintain a portfolio of 100 individuals and solicit gifts of $25,000+- Streamline standard operating procedures and gift acceptance policies for a fast paced development office- Define KPIs and build systems to measure individual and team performance

Oversees development department for the first, and only, all girls boarding school for Afghan girls anywhere in the world, currently located in Rwanda.- Solicit gifts up to seven figures from new and existing donors for general operating, campus construction and special projects- Manage major gifts portfolio with over 100 prospects- Support SOLA President in prospect management and solicitation responsibilities- Write solicitations, grants, stewardship correspondence, and publication materials- Prepare development board reports and lead committee meetings- Manage and mentor Director of Annual Giving and other staff
