I am a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law by the Ohio State Bar Association. I am also a dually Certified Specialist in Elder Law by the OSBA and the National Elder Law Foundation. My law practice focuses on estate planning, estate administration, elder law, asset protection, Medicaid, special needs planning and guardianships. I am really passionate about helping people create plans for all of the “what ifs” life can bring, crafting each plan to address the unique aspects of each client’s circumstances. There is no one size fits all plan here! I am licensed to practice law in both Ohio and Florida (so I am officially a snow bird... in training). I am honored to have been voted by my peers as a Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.In my professional life, I am the Past-Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Disability Foundation and Past-Chair of the Elder & Special Needs Law Section of the Ohio State Bar Association. I am active in the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), where I served as the Past-President of the Ohio Chapter. I am also among a small group of Ohio attorneys who serve as Ohio Department of Medicaid Stakeholder Liaisons. In my personal life, I am an active member of Be Hope Church in Beavercreek, Ohio, where I serve on various Hope Teams and on the Leadership Team. I graduated cum laude from the University of Akron School of Law, after getting my BS in journalism from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, cum laude. I was a fifth generation graduate of Beavercreek High School and I am a second generation estate planning attorney. I am now happily settled in Beavercreek with my husband, Adam, and our two children, Camden and Jake.
