CANYON HILLS (FORMERLY: SERRA) HIGH SCHOOL, 2017 - PRESENTAs the lead AP teacher for the 20-21 school year, I worked closely with administration to maximize the efficacy of the AP and develop systems of support to promote student success during distance learning. Systems of support included: department coordinated additional support hours with teachers, segregated by subject and course to ensure maximum student access; public calendar of all AP activities and deadlines for students, parents, and counseling; working closely with the Advanced Studies Resource Teacher with the district and APTS to troubleshoot AP related issues; conducted informational meetings for students and families to guide them through the AP Exam purchasing process.

CANYON HILLS (FORMERLY: SERRA) HIGH SCHOOL, 2017 - PRESENTIn 2018, our school sought to create a clear, standardized grading policy to promote student equity and guaranteed, viable learning across alldisciplines. Our team utilized various research and explored different forms of pedagogy to develop a grading policy that focused on the mastery ofskills, and completely removed behavior from the academic grading system. As a team member, I worked diligently to provide research and facilitatecollaboration to create the tenants of our policy which was adopted by our site in the 2018-19 school year.

Over the past four years, I have developed and implemented curriculum for six different courses in both the English and Social Science departments.Using innovative models and pedagogies, such as"Universal Learning by Design" and Zoretta Hammond's work, 'Culturally Responsive Teaching and the Brain", I developed curriculum that combined the mastery of skills with culturally relevant, anti-racist content. Responsible for data entry, record keeping, and testing of over 180 high school students classified as English Learners. Administered CELDT, SBAC, CAHSEE, CAASPP and AP testing. Maintained records of student growth, using data place students in classes according to proficiency. Provided resources to students learning English as a second language.
