Account Manager
Current• Increase revenue and maximize market share of vendor products to assigned accounts• Create customized plans for top accounts with elements such as: modified pricing structures, marketing plans, sales based incentives, etc.• Proactively foster relationships with all assigned accounts and leverage DSC’s core competencies to achieve goals and sales budgets• Proactively foster and manage account base, primarily focused on frequent, proactive contact• Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems to update relevant information leveraging Salesforce.com as our core CRM and sales pipeline tool• Plan/carry out/support account events to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, and tradeshows• Monitor and report on channel developments, competitor activities, and customer trends• Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships
