Restaurant industry professional turned academic. After 10 years working in various hospitality positions, I decided to go to graduate school to get a PhD in sociology. I'm currently a PhD candidate and looking for a career as a research analyst in the non-profit sector. I'm passionate about data-driven solutions to achieving social justice and socioeconomic equity. The bulk of my experience is in qualitative research, but I'm trained in quantitative research and mixed methods. Additionally, I have experience teaching undergraduate sociology courses (both online and in-person). I'm open to adjunct teaching positions while finishing my PhD program.
