A passionate and empathetic social worker, Brittany is committed to empowering individuals and addressing systems of oppression. She has experience working on a variety of social justice issues including working to reform the child welfare and criminal justice systems and eradicate gender-based violence. She currently provides training and expert assistance to jurisdictions and communities across the country on issues related to domestic violence, abusive partner intervention, and human trafficking. She also has direct practice experience with adolescents and survivors of trauma, including criminalized survivors, and previously served as a volunteer crisis counselor for individuals of all ages. Her skills include advocacy, case management, crisis management, counseling (individual and group) curriculum development, event planning, facilitation, mentoring, mitigation, policy analysis, program development and evaluation, project management, public speaking, research, staff training and development, strategic planning, supervision, supportive counseling, technical assistance, trauma-informed practice, writing reports, and youth leadership development. Brittany Davis graduated with a Master's of Science in Social Work from Columbia University. She focused her studies on advanced generalist social work practice and programming with an emphasis on contemporary social issues and a minor in law. She is a graduate of Brown University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in public policy.
