My other personal platform was called,"Kick Up Your Heels; Keeping Older Adults Active" as I visited hundreds of nursing homes to both perform and teach dance. I also served as the official Distracted Driving Liaison for State Farm Insurance. Additionally, I raised substantial funds as an ambassador for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. I was able to compete in the Miss America Competition held in Atlantic City, NJ and use my scholarship earnings to attend Physician Assistant Graduate School immediately after my year of service. Responsible for taking patients' medical history, preparing each patient for exams, checking vital signs, informing patients of treatment procedures and performing lab tests. Job requires changing dressings, administering medications and authorizing prescription refills, all under the direction of a physician. Additionally, knowledge of EMR and medical terminology is required. CPR/AED/First Aid Certified.

Introduced new genre of dance to local students, choreographed routines and taught children Irish traditions & customs. Also focused on creating new business for the studio by forming relationships with prospective customers.
