About Brittany Staboon B.Sc., B.Ed., Oct

I’m Brittany and I am so fortunate to have gained a wealth of experience teaching in many different positions. I began my journey in education in university as a life science teaching assistant in my Biology Honours program. I then pursued my Bachelor of Education to become a high school science teacher. Following teacher’s college, I landed a position teaching Grade 4 and 8 Language and Science at Hamilton Hebrew Academy. I then transitioned to HCDSB where I supply taught for a while, and then taught Grade 8 for a year. Finally, this led me to my current position as an adult education teacher where I have taught many different learners and courses including: senior biology and chemistry, health, presentation and speaking as well as the PLAR math and science program (challenge for credit). I have thoroughly enjoyed my teaching experiences and have learned so much over the years. I look forward to continuing to learn from my students and applying this knowledge to inform my practice each and every day!
