As a criminal justice policy analyst, I composed opinion and informational pieces for publication in print and on the web. I also researched and analyzed the effectiveness of criminal justice policies at the local level, as well as conducted legal research and assisted with the preparation of cases. I gained valuable experience on Capitol Hill advocating for policies favorable to local law enforcement agencies.

As an investigative branch of the Department of Justice, I assisted with and participated in the Operations' branch's investigation of complex public corruption cases. This included receiving and analyzing criminal investigative information, conducting open-source research, and entering and analyzing data. I also independently reviewed, analyzed, and summarized general complaints and allegations from the public and responded to inquiries from the general public.In the Investigative Support branch, I assisted with logistical tasks, including but not limited to making recommendations for agent training, developing spreadsheets to track official government vehicles, and maintaining training calendars.

I assisted instructor with curriculum development, graded tests and papers, taught select Introduction to Criminology classes, and hosted review sessions.

I reviewed and analyzed investigative information and assisted with general administrative duties.
