It's funny, I sort of fell into Optometry. One of those ' I didn't choose this life, this life chose me' sort of things.  I walked in off the street after getting denied an insurance position next door and instantly got an interview for receptionist with a well known commercial optical establishment. As I'm in the middle of answering a question the cl manager stops me. She says "No. I don't think she would make a good receptionist ". She looks at the GM, points at me and says "She's an Optician ''.  She couldn't have been more right. I was catapulted into a brand new world. A world that I would make my career.    That was 6 years ago. In that time I have worked with both private practices and corporate office giants. I have a selling style all my own and it works. My sales accomplishments speak for itself.  In My first 9 months as an optician I had sold just shy of 300K.  I've managed offices, led successful teams and broken personal goals.  What I've found is that I'm a leader. A teacher.
