I have been an orthopedic X-ray technologist for the past 8 years. While I do miss working in a bustling hospital environment, I've found that working in orthopedics suits me. I can provide the specialized images requested of me for surgical cases, post operative patients, and pain management cases. I am dedicated to making each patient I come in contact with feel welcome and at ease in the office. I have the patience and knowledge to explain an X-ray procedure to a patient, and I am able to modify my exam to meet the needs of both referring doctor and patient. I have been given the nickname "Bee" here in the office due to the fact that I am always cheerful, bubbly, and happily buzzing around, offering to help whenever I see the opportunity. X-ray is my happy place and as the old adage goes: "if you find something you love doing, you'll never work a day in your life."
