A current MSW intern at the Center for Brain Care Innovation. I work with seniors who come in for complaints of memory loss. We work as an interdisciplinary team to help the patient through diagnosis and providing support for the patient and their loved ones. I also intern with the Aging Brain Care Medical Home which is an extension of the Healthy Aging Brain clinic that does home visits with seniors. This a fellowship through the Geriatrics Education and Training Center.

- Provide social interaction for children ages 0-13 years old- Work with a team of child care assistants- Prepare meals in accordance of the food program menu- Assist school-age children with homework after school

I observed and co-facilitated groups with older adults who suffered from depression, anxiety, loneliness, and many other issues. CBT was used during group therapy.

I provide in home visits to families who have children from the age of 0 to 3. I work with the families to provide parentin skills, referral to community resources, etc.

- Shadowed social workers in the field- Put together blank charts- Assisted clients in filling out paperwork- Attended Period of Purple Crying Conference- Assisted at foster parent meetings monthly (still doing this when available)
