In addition to my regular tasks, as the Lead Graphic Designer I focus on ensuring the smooth, organized and effective operation of the Graphic Design Department. It is my responsibility to provide training and supervision for other designers and interns, communicate with upper level management as well as outside vendors and clients to ensure that all graphic requirements are being met across the board, and provide initiatives, feedback, and suggestions for the department when necessary.I also create a great deal of internal graphics for the company, and strive to improve the company’s brand image and ensure that our brand guidelines are followed and remain current.

I am responsible for creating designs for the company’s wide range of clientele which includes small, local businesses, as well as many well-known clients. I have been appointed primary designer on some of the company’s largest accounts and projects, such as Heineken’s Paint the Store Green campaign. Other brands that I work on include Modell’s, Power Home Remodeling, Temple University, Alzheimers Association, HelloFresh, Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Bunker Labs, LifeAid/FitAid, Washington Capitals, Elevation Burger, UPenn, and more. Whether working within the brand guidelines of a well-known company or starting from scratch to build a new brand, I work on a variety of project types. Some examples include: logo design and branding; business card design; environmental design such large-format full-wall graphics and building wrap graphics; vehicle wraps; signage and billboards; brochure/flyer design; invitations and stationery designs; menus and table tents; t-shirt and apparel design; packaging design; product design; social media/web banner advertisements; and anything else you can imagine being printed! In addition to original graphic design work, I also create product proofs for many promotional products and apparel, and set up existing artwork to meet specifications for production.

Solin brought me on board to help improve their existing fitness app. They were looking to incorporate new features that would make the app more robust and social, specifically a new messaging feature, and also wanted me to do a general review of their existing product, including “tightening up” the app UI and ensuring the visual design is clean and intuitive, and making sure that best practices are followed.- I performed a heuristic analysis of their overall app and provided redesign recommendations- I helped to incorporate a new Messaging/Notifications feature by creating user flows, doing comparative analyses, ideating on what features to include, creating wireframes, and creating hi-fidelity mockups and prototypes.

I work with a variety of clients to create visual designs for UI/UX, marketing, and branding.

I teach painting classes to groups ranging in size from 10 to 60+ people, including both children and adults, most of whom have no artistic background. Job duties include providing excellent artistic instruction and customer service, conceptualizing new painting designs, scheduling future classes, and running the studio with little or no supervision.

During this holiday seasonal position, I used a good working knowledge of typography as well as extreme attention to detail to design the layouts of custom greeting cards in a way that met the needs of clients. This entailed working quickly and accurately with a large volume of orders, re-creating client logos in vector format, ensuring accurate typesetting, and setting up final design files in .EPS and .PDF formats for digital and/or letterpress printing, all under tight deadlines.

With the owner’s vision in mind, I worked to refresh and promote the company’s brand, and to design materials for a new retail store. My design projects varied and included both digital and print collateral for retail displays, advertisements, fundraisers, the company website, and social media. Additional responsibilities included establishing and adhering to budgets, choosing where to advertise, and keeping track of scheduled promotions. I utilized Adobe Muse to create the company's website, and updated it with each promotion. Along with the copywriter, I conceptualized and executed ad campaigns and web and print content. In addition to my design and marketing duties, I took on other roles as needed, such as: merchandising, developing relationships with vendors; project management, recruiting employees; and other tasks related to the overall operations of the company.

I utilized digital design programs such as Maya and Photoshop to contribute to the improvement of BioDigital’s product, the BioDigital Human, by creating realistic textures and applying them to existing 3D models.

Under the direction of the Creative Director, I utilized Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create unique layouts for web design, as well as making changes to existing website layouts for the company’s well-known clients.
