I have spent the past several years in reflection of exactly how I want to show up in the workforce. This pursuit took me from the early childhood classroom to the fitness studio to a leadership role at a non-profit. The common thread with these roles is that each of them contributes to the physical and social well-being of the community and I am able to show up in a meaningful and impactful way. Working directly with individuals of all demographics and backgrounds to fulfill a variety of needs has been incredibly rewarding and has driven my desire to continue in the non-profit sector and pursue education and experience in the volunteer and community engagement realm where I feel I can truly make an impact.I was introduced to the world of volunteerism through my work with the Junior League of Richmond. My involvement with this historic and prestigious organization has given me insight into the needs and unique characteristics of our Richmond community and really made me realize my unyielding passion for making a difference in the lives of others. I have gained a wealth of knowledge and training with this group and I have met incredible women and members of the community that have helped me realize the heart of my values and brought me to a place of understanding my role in the workforce. There's an incredible energy that comes from rallying people around a shared cause, and I'm committed to facilitating connections that drive meaningful change. I firmly believe that each individual has a role to play in creating a stronger, more vibrant community.One of my driving forces is the conviction that diverse and inclusive systems are essential for genuine progress.
