During my senior year of high school, I worked as the Vice President of Arts and Publications at Recharge Bitez - a virtual company created by my classmates and I in our Business Enterprise class. As the VP of Arts and Publications, I oversaw a group of 4 other students, and my department and I prioritized our focus on creating the visual image of our company. - Created professional, enticing, and presentable branding for our products and the visual appeal of the company- Researched and tested different color pallets to establish our company colors which we then incorporated into designing our logo- Used many professional creator websites to create our banner ad, posters, business cards, name tags, banners, various mailers, branding, and other forms of advertisement that contributes to Recharge Bitez’s overall image- Designed our booth at trade shows - Acquired the necessary knowledge and the skills that aid in design and publication- Worked with other departments as well as directed my own team/department in a collaborative environment

ODAA is an Interior Design and Architecture firm that utilizes design practices in an open collaborative office space to engage in diverse building opportunities in order to fulfill the roots of creation and sustainable design practices. Being an intern at ODAA, I had many different responsibilities: - Photocopying- Filing- Note-taking- Making stickers for hardhats - Making/updating spreadsheets- Setting up the boardroom for meetings - Sorting and organizing the various design textile samples such as fabrics or woods that are used for different projects and vision boards- Sat in on different sales and team meetings with professional companies like Knoll Textiles- Learned how to use various architecture, design, and engineering softwares- Gave input on various designs, textiles, styles, and more on the current projects- Acquired additional knowledge in office management, and company management skills by shadowing the office manager who taught me a lot about doing payroll, organizing meetings, and more about what goes on behind the scenes when operating a business or firmOverall, my internship experience gave me a closer insight into working in a range of positions and businesses, such as architecture, interior design, engineering, sales, office management, and more.
