All CV grants are short term and included over $2 mil in funding; extreme adaptability was required to hit the ground running to get funding to local agencies and community members. Interfaced with dozens of non-profit community partners to provide technical assistance to agencies which provide services to homeless and low-to-moderate income populations within Salt Lake County. ■ Collaborated with high-level community partners -- including SLC Corp, The Road Home, First Step House, Department of Workforce Services, etc. -- to quickly and timely utilize funding to fill the 300 overflow shelter bed deficit for Winter 2021. The CV funding/project was able to fill the need for approximately 1/3 of the required overflow bed space, providing safe winter shelter to over a hundred people and/or families. ■ Oversaw the processes for RFAs which utilized $1mil+ in federal block grant funding in 2021.■ Maintained ongoing relationships with community partners and stakeholders, including strong representation and participation with the Salt Lake Valley Coalition to End Homelessness. ■ Served on committees to provide scoring for applications for grants of $1 mil+ in federal funding. ■ Solicited County goals to local non-profits whose goals align with County funding priorities, thus providing the most successful and meaningful outcomes to/with partner agencies. ■ Created policies and procedures where there were previously none in place, creating better flow and balance for current and future team members; this also assisted with strict federal/HUD monitoring requirements. -
