Brittney is a school-based counselor with a focus on Careers. By connecting passions and personal skills, she helps others see the value in their strengths. Work is an integral part of one's life, whether they are starting a new career, transitioning, or feeling stuck. Brittney helps students define, clarify, and execute their career goals with a person-centered approach. There are many reasons why we choose the paths we do, and she is determined to help students navigate those obstacles to accomplish their goals. Brittney aims to be purposeful in everything that she does and inspire others to achieve in all that they desire to do and be.Beginning her professional journey in the social services industry, she later transitioned to education, then ultimately counseling. Brittney chose to pursue a Master's in School Counseling because as a first-generation student, she valued the opportunity she had to earn two degrees, although very difficult. She wants to ensure that students have the support and resources they need to be successful as they overcome the disadvantages that have been placed before them. Currently, Brittney supports Art and Design students as they navigate the industry markets, immigration status, along with other influences to create change in the world through the work they create.
