    Promoted to this position after 6 months as a data analyst to work on a special project: HEDIS Reporting. This project has entailed many aspects of the project development life cycle including: creating a database structure to hold the new data but still be able to relate it to current data, flow charting over 100 measures, configuration on the same 100 HEDIS measures, creating test cases, assisted in the procedure witting process, and testing the procedure that determines if a patient is compliant for a specific measure. I also performed UAT testing.I am currently creating new procedures in SQL Server along with porting procedures from Oracle to SQL Server. Data Analyst QA: responsible for QAing changes to Oracle procedures as well as new Oracle procedures that fall into my scope of work. This includes code review along with QAing in a test environment.Data Investigations: writing queries for multiple schemas with many tables for our client facing application, MDinsight, to answer specific questions for the client pertaining to their data.Quality of Data​: as data is processed it is QA’d to ensure that the desired results were received. Queriesare written in SQL. The current list of client’s data that I monitor include: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana, Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina and Summa Health Network.QA of Implementations: once client’s data has been though the implementations process the data and the process needs to be QA’d. I am responsible for writing queries to check for a list of potential problems.

    Intern – Data Analyst Data Entry: utilization of an Access database in the Project Management Office. Monitoring Projects in Trouble (PIT) and/or Quality Management review identification. The goal is to identify projects earlier in the project life cycle when repairs are less invasive and less costly.Responsible for design, build and maintenance of a SharePoint sub-site named “SCS Portfolio Test Practices” This project went though most phases of a life cycle including: analysis, design, build, test, and maintenance. SCS Defect Metrics: retrieval of raw data from Team Track, filter data using slicers and pivot tables to show five different perspectives in the form of charts and tables. This deliverable is completed on a monthly basis and is in the form of three PowerPoint presentations. Defects are tracked and charted throughout all phases of the lifecycle.Meeting weekly, monthly and quarterly deliverables that were determined when this position was established also adding to these deadlines and consolidating the process to be more time efficient.Plan vs. Actual: using Excel projects plan vs. actual hours using Longview. Data is retrieved from long view, analysis is performed using Excel slicers and pivot tables and put into a user-friendly Excel document.
