After the military, I gained 2 years of experience as a casino surveillance agent and 5+ years of experience as a correctional officer across two different sheriff's departments (Texas and California). While working for the sheriff's department in California, I was also a department-certified first aid/CPR instructor for 3 years. Once I made the decision to go back to school to finish my Bachelor's degree, I transitioned away from law enforcement and experienced working as a court clerk at the Sacramento Superior Courthouse before becoming a part of Employee Benefits for Los Rios Community College District.I hold an AA degree in General Studies and recently finished my BA in Psychology at American Military University which was conferred August 2024.
