The American Institute of Architects is the voice of the architectural profession and a resource to its members in service to society.My role as Communications Manager for AIA Middle Tennessee is to advocate for the profession of Architecture, and engage and impact members of the AIA and the community.

Harpeth Hall School is a college preparatory school for girls in grades 5-12 in Nashville, Tennessee."Teaching girls in grades 5-12 to think critically, to lead confidently, and to live honorably."As a teacher at Harpeth Hall, I have taught various curriculum classes, as well as classes for the extracurricular Dance Company. Curriculum classes include: Intro to Tap (7th Grade), Jazz History (8th Grade) and PE (6th Grade). Dance Company Choreography includes Middle School Hip Hop (7th + 8th Grades) and Upper School Hip Hop (9th-12th Grade).

Rebuilding Together Nashville, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, restores, rebuilds and provides critical repairs at homes of low-income residents — free of charge. For 20 years, RTN has served the Nashville community by helping to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize neighborhoods.As Communications Director, I worked closely with the board of directors and Executive Director to increase awareness and build the strategic communications capacity and impact of Rebuilding Together Nashville. Worked closely with all staff, volunteers and partners, to move the organization’s focus from simply “communications” to “engagement,” leveraging new and existing networks, cultivating new partners, nurturing relationships with existing key stakeholders, and forging two-way exchanges that lead to the engagement Rebuilding Together Nashville is seeking.
