As Master Maker I utilize all of my Fabrication and Technical Design knowledge while working alongside various engineering teams to conceptualize and produce components for devices that work to eliminate Methane emissions from Livestock. Involves taking ideas from technical sketches to real life through rapid iteration, validation, and material/process reasearch. Primary skills include CAD, 3D Printing, hand-processing, Mouldmaking/Casting (predominantly Silicone). Validation typically involves sourcing and building a variety of testing rigs centered around pneumatics, heat management, and material properties.Additionally I am one of the managers of our physical workspace, handling workshop operations + policy, H&S/COSHH management, maintenance, infrastructure, inventory, sourcing, and general organisation.

Worked with a small team of engineers to design and produced Blue Tech systems for Marine Camera control and operation. Compiled and managed BOMs and product/project documentation, designed and fabricated parts as needed, assembled and troubleshooted complex multi-component camera systems, and maintained an clean and organized production lab. Required creative thinking to resolve space and production issues.

Aided the designers and textile fabricators at Propel LLC to explore the capabilities of their products, improve their design, and optimize their production. Handling Propel's products required a unique blend of the scientific method unconventional means of handling textiles. We went from working with simple swatches of e-textiles with unknown capabilities to thorough datasheets, documenting best practices and processes, and better introspection as to how to make design and fabrication more efficient.

I am the Assistant to Designer Gail Ahlers. We work together to create digital renderings of awards and sculptures for clients. Most digital work is done in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, with occasional work in InDesign. Once a design is finalized the works are fabricated and assembled through a variety of methods. The works are often multimedia, and made of recycled materials. I also run the Shipping Department of Ahlers Designs. I manage retail orders and help keep our online stores in order through Amazon Seller Central.
