Assisting doctors with triaging and scribing the notes, hands on with medical procedures such as: surgical photos, injection, biopsies, excisions, Mohs, ED&C, I&D, patch test, PDT, KOH prep, etc. cosmetic procedures such as Botox and filler. Training new employees. Also, traveling to two of their away clinic’s, Blountstown and Marianna.

EMR system that I worked in: eClinical Works. Stared off as a Medical Assistant on the dermatology side. Assisting doctors with triaging and scribing the notes, hands on with medical procedures such as: surgical photos, injection, biopsies, excisions, Mohs, ED&C, I&D, Blue light etc. Also, traveling to two of their away clinic’s, Marianna and Gulf Breeze. Handled patient communication via phone, through EMR, and in-person; managing patient medical records, pathology reports, and scheduling. Took an opening on the spa side as a Medical Assistant and Receptionist. Handled communication with the patients via phone and in-person, scheduling patient for the aestheticians and providers for cosmetic procedures, selling product, keeping track of inventory, and filling out the ordering forms. Assisting the providers with: triaging, scribing, injections, topical BLT, setting up and break down of laser cosmetic procedure, and having cosmetic injectables and patients ready for the provider.

EMR systems that I worked in: paper charts, Nextech, and Epic. Started off a Medical Office Administrative Assistant; handling patient communication via phone and in-person, making appointments, conducting billing and coding activities with patients and insurance companies, organized patient files and medical records. Then became Dr. T Hilton’s head Medical Assistant with on-the-job training. Assisting doctors with triaging and scribing the notes, hands on with medical procedures such as: surgical photos, injection, biopsies, excisions, ED&C, I&D, patch test, KOH preps, etc. cosmetic procedures such as: Botox, filler, and lasers treatments. Communication with insurance companies for PA’s, informing the patient of their pathology results and scheduling them accordingly. Also, became their Esthetician while still being a Medical Assistant when I didn’t have my own patients. As the aesthetician I had assigned procedures such as: Skin Pen microneedling, Diamond Glow, laser hair removal, Fraxel Dual, and CO2RE INTIMA laser. Would analyze the patients needs to communicate with the doctor and then proceed with the procedures. In addition, selling product and assisting with the ordering process and inventory on both the medical and cosmetic side. Once I moved in May of 2021 to Florida, I remotely transferred patient chart information from Nextech to Epic for a couple of months.

Completed externship from July – August 2016 with this company. Managed patient records in EMR systems (Kereo & EMA) and paper charts. Handled patient interaction in person and on the phone with appointments and billing questions. Conducted billing and coding with patients and insurance companies. Performed administrative duties that were assigned.
