In this role, I allocate resources and materials to ensure the efficient production of bearings, seals, and associated parts to meet the demands of global customers. To this effect, I devise production plans based on the availability of raw materials, manufacturing equipment, and production teams; maintain the master schedule via the ERP system; and liaise with production managers and supervisors to implement production orders, optimize workflows, and minimize capacity constraints.Highlights of my contributions include:• Deftly determining operational priorities after analyzing complex work order specifications and evaluating the availability of materials, machines and equipment, parts, and workers.• Creating a new planning tool in the ERP system and revamping process to streamline the timeline from order entry to manufacturing.• Elevating inventory integrity by leading routine cycle counts and diligently investigating discrepancies, successfully remediating a trend of negative variances.• Rolling out a new kitting process on the shop floor, effectively reducing the time for processing parts and reducing downtime for the assembly line.• Stepping up to research outsourcing options to enable flexible changes in shop capacity.

Here, I supervised production planning, scheduling, and coordination to include developing daily work schedules per customer work orders and shop floor capacities and coordinating across departments to ensure seamless workflows. I also led procurement activities to source raw materials, parts, and supplies and managed inventories.Highlights of my contributions include:• Effectively integrating a new planning and scheduling tool into the existing ERP.• Championing an innovative method to enable pre-ordering of inventories for pending orders.• Delivering notable time savings by refining processes for work order creation.• Serving as Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Lead, handling incident investigation and reporting.• Revising and implementing a new EHS training matrix to enhance team-wide understanding of safety expectations.
