For as long as I can remember, I have always been creative and a problem solver. I wish I could easily say that I knew right away what I wanted to do in life, but like many others, I struggled in finding something that fit my personality and skills. When I finally decided to take a class in learning about graphic design and what it entails, I realized then that would be the beginning of my journey into becoming a graphic designer.It was during my internship with the Career Center of my school that I really began to blossom in my creativity, skills, and understanding of design. I created many things there such as brochures, posters, infographics, and more. I was even fortunate enough in being part of the process in making a pin enamel during my internship, seeing my creation come to life not just digitally, but physically as well.When I’m not creating for my employers or for myself, I love to read and look at all kinds of art. I enjoy seeing people’s creations come to life, which inspires me to create and try new things. It renews my spirit and helps me take my projects to another creative level.Although I have come a long way in graphic design, I have much to learn and cannot wait to see what challenges lie ahead of me.
