As a Partner and Managing Director of Client Services at 104 West Partners, I bring more than 25 years of experience in marketing, public relations, and communications to each client engagement. Possessing deep experience in the high-tech, consumer, and healthcare verticals, I hold responsibility for the daily management of the agency, building and sustaining high-value client relationships, and engaging in business development.My primary focus, though, is on clients. Why? Because I understand what clients need because I have been a client myself, running communications in-house and managing agencies at several points throughout my career. And it is this that has driven me, alongside my team, to institute certain practices and guidelines on behalf of 104 West clients. This model for client service is centered around setting the right expectations, establishing open lines of communication, and of course, delivering results. To ensure high levels of client service, I engage with clients in a mix of strategy and nitty-gritty details. Critical to scaling this level of service is working with my team members, helping them better communicate and collaborate with our clients. And I love doing this. It is highly rewarding to me to see smart people excel in their careers, come into their own, display intellectual curiosity, and show their passion for delivering great work.Some of my other specialties outside of interfacing with clients include developing media and marketing communications strategy; corporate communications; global public relations and coordination; business continuity during crises (and specifically M&A and hostile takeover situations); product PR; and career management and employee relations. At the end of the day, 104 West is in the business of standing up new companies and ideas and helping our clients stand out.
