Brian attended the Maryland Institute College of Art where he studied design under Ellen Lupton ( writer, critic and a curator at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum ) and J. Abbott Miller ( partner at Pentagram Design ).Over the next decade, Brian went on to lead design teams on a wide variety of projects in the agency and startup world. Some notable clients include: Nike Golf, Nike Vision, Target, Adobe, 3M, GE, Cessna, Smartwool, Teva, Icebreaker Clothing, American Eagle, Sage, Redington, Nasdaq and Snapguide. In 2014, Brian then came full circle to found BUILT.
