I'm a Computer Science and MBA graduate with 6 years of experience as a data professional. In high school I taught myself C++ and programmed my way through chemistry class. During my undergraduate career I learned the standard computer science curriculum and during my free time built C# applications to integrate a bunch of smart home devices across my college dorm to create the -perfect- light show. I also worked on campus building out software applications and SQL queries to help automate analytical reporting. My professional internship gave me the opportunity to create an ASP.NET web applications and backend resources for a large telecommunications company.Following graduation, I started a full-time position at the university as a Data Warehouse Analyst, which is a fancy title for someone who does data engineering, data governance, and analytical reporting support within the data warehouse and other CRM and ERP systems. In this role I've honed my SQL, python, ETL, analytical, and visualization skills and worked across a range of domain areas including academic, human resources, financial, and budgeting systems. Desiring to better understand the business I took part-time night classes, earning a Master’s in Business Administration in 2022.I advocate using modern data practices to drive business efficiency and I pride myself on being able to assist organizations in accessing actionable data to focus on the important details.
