Brett B. Rochkind is the Managing Partner of BRK Capital, a global technology investing platform based in Silicon Valley. BRK is inspired by Warren Buffett, Chairman & CEO of Berkshire Hathaway (BRK), and the values of Being (living and appreciating the human experience in all aspects), Rock (serving as a solid rock of support to family, friends, partners, entrepreneurs and the community) and Kind (being a loving, friendly, generous, and benevolent person). The main objective of BRK is to compound capital at 19.8% for 59 years as Mr. Buffett has done for BRK shareholders from 1964 through 2023.Brett is a Managing Partner at the SoftBank Vision Fund, the largest global technology investing platform with over $150 billion in assets across over 500 portfolio companies. Prior to SoftBank, Brett was a Managing Director at General Atlantic (GA), a global growth investment firm where he led GA’s Silicon Valley office and was the Global Co-Head of the Technology sector. Brett was at GA for 15 years beginning in New York in 2002 investing in Software, Services and Internet businesses and helped GA expand its investment operations into Brazil and Latin America. In 2009, Brett moved to Hong Kong to help expand GA’s China presence and explore opportunities across China, India and Asia. Brett is also a terrible golfer particularly for a former golf caddy and collegiate golfer, loves playing mediocre tennis, supports the Washington, DC area sports teams (especially the Baltimore Orioles), and has adopted the SF Bay Area sports teams, particularly whichever one is winning.
