Primary Developer for Schwan's Mail Order System, expanding shipping facilities, increasing order volume by 20x, and enhancing systems integration. In this role, I closely collaborated with marketing leadership to expand and enhance the Mail Order System. I developed and maintained various backend applications and services using C# and SQL. My responsibilities included configuring and launching 12 new shipping facilities over a 3-year period, which required coordination with leadership, IT support, and facility managers.One of our major achievements was increasing weekly order volume from 800 to 16,000 orders. We accomplished this growth through numerous system enhancements and integrations. I addressed several technical challenges that arose from the 20x increase in order volume, ensuring that our systems could handle the increased load without compromising performance or accuracy.Additionally, I worked with third-party vendors to integrate their order systems with ours, and I played a key role in optimizing our integration with the UPS WorldShip platform. My role was heavily focused on manual system testing due to the complexity and scale of the solutions. This hands-on experience provided me with a deep understanding of the Mail Order System which was crucial as I transitioned into a Systems Developer role, where I eventually became the primary developer.
