I finally made the jump to concentrate my efforts to promote and supply quality Decorative Landscape Curbing for the central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland customers.

We are Tygar Certified Installers of Landscape Curbing. We use a slip-form extruder to create decorative concrete permanent borders or curbs around flower beds. We install 95% residential and 5% commercial. My wife and I have installed thousands of feet to date and still love helping clients add the final "CURB APPEAL" to there properties. I love helping our customers add a good looking yet very functional edging .

My team and I will continue to be the guiding force behind all designs for capital projects on a corporate wide basis. I believe the count is at 15 plants nation wide at the moment. From Concepts/ideas, to Bid drawings and then to final installation plans including all specifications. We will work closely with our plant managers, project managers/engineers to ensure a smooth project flow of documentation and critical information. This will usually ensure a successful project with very little hiccups in the installation/construction phase. Working in small teams from the beginnings of the project allows us to streamline projects and make them reality in record time. Exciting times as we step-change our operations as we move forward into the future.

Developes drawings for new equipment & retrofitting production equipment, oversees project installations, coordinates with contractors, involved from project inception to production start-up. (all phases). Any building modifications either company owned or leased I am involved. We are continually improving our production processes.

Started with Utz when I was a freshman in high school. I pulled extra orders for the route sales force, cleaned up cardboard and pallets in a neat fashion off the docks. I also enjoyed driving a forklift accomplishing many of the typical warehouse tasks required for this position. I focused on efficiency and accuracy, I found myself being a great role model for my fellow coworkers. I always challenged my coworkers to see who would clean up the most docks in the evening. It was a great way for me to make some money while attending high school and college. I learned a lot about responsibility and time management.
