Most of my tasks in this seasonal position were traveling with the road crew to different corn test plots. Before the research field technician would harvest the corn plots for data on moisture, test weight, overall weight, and yield, I would take notes on the corn stalks to see which hybrids stayed standing and which hybrids failed. I also performed other daily tasks such as equipment maintenance.

Working for an appraisal firm I learned a variety of different aspects. Not only was it working with the appraiser in charge, but also for the different customers from banks to law firms to the farmers themselves. My responsibilities were researching and gathering data on the agricultural land and/or buildings being appraised, formatting the appraisal reports, assisting clients via over the phone or in the office, and other daily operations in the office.
